I'd like to remove the 5-stars notation at the bottom of every page
We've just released an update that let you disable "Page Rating" from your space settings ("Customization" tab).
Yes. Its documentation! , not f**ing instagram. it must be comprehensible and clear
We plan on replacing it by a 3 emojis notation with a better page footer.
What is the main reason that makes you want to disable it ?
@Samy Pessé: I don't see the value in it as I think too few people will rate the page and therefore the results might be biased (you tend to rate things that make you angry). Plus I think the pages would look cleaner without it.
@Samy Pessé: I second this request. In a book, there is no point to have any kind of ratings or anything else in the footer that doesn't contribute to the content; I'd vote against emojis as well as against stars or any kind of watermarks, signatures, etc. The best solution is, as always, that you leave the choice to the user: if they want stars and/or emojis, let them enable them, something similar to what you did with GitHub button.
@Meho R.: While it's there for the purpose of providing data for the insights section of your dashboard, I agree that it should still be possible to disable insights (and article ratings) if the user so desires.
